Install / Update RealPort on Microsoft Windows NT4

Follow these steps to install RealPort on Microsoft Windows NT4

  1. Click Start, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Network and then click the Services tab.

  3. Click Add and then click Have Disk.

  4. Type the path to the RealPort files and click OK, or click Browse and locate the files.

    5. TIP: Click here to open the folder containing the RealPort files. If you are running Internet Explorer version 6, you can copy/paste the pathname from the address bar in the browser.

  5. Select Digi RealPort Service and click OK.

  6. Follow the prompts on the screen to finish installing RealPort.

 
 

Follow these steps to update RealPort on Microsoft Windows NT4

  1. Click Start, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Network and then click the Services tab.

  3. In the Network Services list, select Digi RealPort Service and click Remove

  4. In the following Warning dialog, click Yes to confirm the permanent component removal.

  5. Click Close to close the Network dialog and then click Yes to restart your computer.

  6. When the computer has restarted, click Start, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  7. Double-click Network and then click the Services tab.

  8. Click Add and then click Have Disk.

  9. Type the path to the RealPort files and click OK

    10. TIP: Click here to open the folder containing the RealPort files. If you are running Internet Explorer version 6, you can copy/paste the pathname from the address bar in the browser.

  10. Select Digi RealPort Service and click OK

  11. Follow the prompt on the screen to finish updating RealPort.
